Fun Week In Chicago

I got to visit my sister in Chicago for a week. We had so much fun hanging out and playing with
the kids. Her kids adored Chase - they always wanted to be around him. Julie was amazed at how good of a baby Chase is. Thursday night we got to stay at the Hilton - just me, Jules and Chase. We watched Grey's Anatomy and ate junk food. It was heaven! I also got to visit with my girlfriend Shauna. We went to Outback with her boyfriend Jeremy and Chase and we talked and laughed all night. Jules had this kick start gym that Chase would just lay under and play with for like an hour! He also loved to watch Baby Mozart. I came home with a list of toys and things that I have to have now!

Quick Visit

I got to see my brother and sister-in-law during their 2-hour layover in Atlanta on their way to their week-long cruise in the Carribean! They live in Utah so I don't get many chances to see them but it was so much fun for them to meet Chase and to get to just chat it up and laugh! He definitely had eyes for my brother - Jay is so fun with babies!

Developmental Milestones

Chase is now starting to laugh and focus on objects from a further distance. He is also holding his head up completely and is discovering his hands. He loves to suck on his fists. When Ramon walks into the room he just lights up! He could just stare at his Dad and smile at him all day! He does this new thing where when you stick your tongue out at him he does the same - it is adorable! I like to give him tummy time every day and most of the time Lexi has to be involved.

Medieval Times

We left Chase with a babysitter for the first time last weekend and went to Medieval Times. It was so much fun! Chase did very well without us and it was nice to spend an evening out together.

Our Little Man

We put Chase in his winter coat and matching hat before we went out for dinner and everyone said how adorable he looked, especially with the hat on! He sure knows how to dress!

A Name and a Blessing

Chase was blessed by his Dad on Sunday! It went so well and Ramon was so proud to hold his son in front of the congregation. My brother Steve and his family were able to make it, along with some close friends of mine. It was a special day!
