Peek-A-Boo?

Chase likes to open and close everything! Well, mostly close everything. Every time I open the pantry he comes up and closes it on me and when I enter any room he follows me and then closes the door behind him. Anyway, this morning he discovered he could open the bathroom cabinet (which he's been doing for months) but climb all the way inside and then close it on himself! He thought it was funny to push it open and pull it closed again while I yelled "PEEK-A-BOO!" Everytime I said it he would crack up and then close the door again.

PEEK-A-BOO!

Oooh, I found something ...
Ok, I'm done playing peek-a-boo, this baby powder is more interesting.

Monkey Joe's

This weekend we decided to take Chase to Monkey Joe's for the first time. He didn't last longer than about 30 minutes. It may have been because it was later in the day and he was getting tired but he really just wasn't having it. We let him down to just sort of explore and walk around (which he will do ANYWHERE else we take him) but he kept clinging to us. Ramon got in there with him and you will see he would hardly let go of dad. He went down the slide with Ramon and then had a look of confusement on his face afterwards like he wasn't sure if he should laugh or cry. I couldn't help but laugh watching him. Even when he is clingy and whiney he is so stinkin' cute!

Where am I???

Getting ready to go down the slide ... I don't know about this, dad!
Get me out of here!
Still stickin' with dad

Ok maybe I'll jump on the crab for a little bit

Always Coca-Cola

I don't even have words for these pictures. All I can say is Chase will probably be drinking Coke most of his life, like his dad. There are some things in life that are just inevitable ...

Be Mine

We decided to celebrate our Valentine's Day a little early this year. Ramon wanted to take me out but didn't want the big V-Day crowd to go with it. I completely agreed. It worked out perfectly because it wasn't busy at all. We went to Veni Vidi Vici in Buckhead. It was to die for! Some of the best Italian food I have ever had, seriously. Before we left, I came downstairs to 2 dozen roses and the sweetest card! We exchanged gifts and then the babysitter arrived. We only took a couple pictures as we were running out the door but the night was definitely one to remember! Ramon always knows how to make Valentine's Day special!

The Inevitable Tag

Sorry Tiffany, I liked the title of yours and had to copy. Even though I wasn't tagged by Tiffany, I was tagged by Jessica. So here it goes:

Each player answers the question about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 other people and posts their names, then leaves a message on their blog letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog to get the directions.

What I was doing 10 years ago...

Let's see, I was 15. A sophomore in high school. I had a couple crushes. I loved YW's, Girl's Camp, youth dances. I babysat my niece and nephew a lot. I was majorly into butterflies, I mean majorly. My entire room was covered.

5 Things on my "To-Do" list today...

1. Vacuum upstairs - still not done.
2. Go to the bank - check.
3. Get my eyebrows waxed - check.
4. Fold and put away laundry - check.
5. Change Chase's crib sheet - check.

3 Bad habits I have...

1. Saying "like" a lot.
2. Pulling out my eyelashes.
3. Shopping.

Places I have lived...

Ok big breath, here it goes: Southern California, Seattle WA, Ashland OH, Ottawa IL, Cumberland RI, Aurora IL, Provo UT, Rehoboth MA, Kennesaw GA, Canton GA

Things most people don't know about me ...

This is tough because I already did a 101 things about me list in a previous post (see April 2007) so sorry if you really do already know this stuff. Um, I refuse to sleep with socks on. I get claustrophobic being under the covers with them on. I use Crest 5-minute whitening strips every day. I drink Diet Coke like it is nobody's business (hence the reason I use whitening strips) I hate being pregnant. I am really into argyle right now.

**I'm only going to tag Tiffany, Jodi, & Megs.

Playground Fun

Well, sort of ... it was still a little wet from the rain so it was muddy and not your typical mud. The bright red "Georgia clay" mud that stains everything! My GA peeps know what I am talking about. The other downside was the fact that Chase ate it pretty bad trying to step off the curb of the sidewalk and scraped his forehead. He is offically a toddler! The boy is falling and hurting himself more than I've ever seen. Typical boy ... so active!

Lexi found a tennis ball of course

He saw a bird in the sky - so cute!

Is It Spring Yet?

The weather in the south is confusing. One day its 20 degrees, the next day its 60. I wish it would make up it's mind. Today was a 60 degree day though which was nice and we took advantage. It felt like spring but I'll be holding my breath until spring is really here. Who knows, it'll probably snow tomorrow ... oh well ... enjoy the fun pictures!

Chase loved watching Lexi play fetch. He even pretended to use the Chuck-It with her!
Its not as high as it looks, I promise!

I just realized the ground was wet.
