What would you do if you had a million dollars?....Pay off debt and then we would have no more left. LOL ... But seriously ...
Three bad habits.....
1. Pulling out my eyelashes

What is your hubby's name? Ramon (pronounced RAH-MONE, not RAY-MEN)
How long have you been married? 5 years this August!
How long did you date? Like 3 weeks.
How old is he? 25.
Who eats more? Ramon but not when it comes to sweets.
Who said I Love You first? I did and I've never done that before - it was so weird!
Who is taller? Ramon by about 8 inches.
Who sings better? Ramon for sure! haha JK
Who is smarter? Ramon by a long shot. Whoever can maintain a 4.0 for 3 years (so far) only to pursue Medical School in the future is one smart cat. Lots of respect for him on that.
Whose temper is worse? Neither of us really have tempers but I guess I would say mine is worse since Ramon is so darn laid back.
Who does the laundry? I do. He does help fold on occassion though.
Who does the dishes? Usually me unless its something that needs to be handwashed. He is better at it than I am.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? It depends on which way you are facing. Ramon always sleeps closest to the door. So far we've stayed on the same sides of the bed.
Who pays the bills? Me. Ramon doesn't even know what bills we have hardly.
Who mows the lawn? Ramon.
Who cooks dinner? I do about 3-4 times a week. I can't do it every night, there would be too many leftovers. I usually make a meal and we eat on it for a couple days.
Who drives when you are together? Always Ramon. He makes fun of couples when the girl drives.
Who is more stubborn? Neither of us are that stubborn.
Who is the first to admit they are wrong? This is pretty equal.
Who's parents do you visit the most? Lately we've been seeing my parents more but its pretty equal. We see both about 2-3 times a year.
Who proposed? Ramon - in front of both our families!
Who has more friends? I do.
Who has more siblings? I do.
Who wears the pants in the family? No one.

Happy Easter!
This year Easter was really fun. We went over to our friends Jake & Brittany's parent's house (Jake's parents, Brittany's in-laws) for a delicious ham dinner. Seriously, I haven't had an Easter meal like that in a long time. I also haven't been that full in a long time. Ramon & Jake hid eggs in the yard for Chase, Camryn, & Ty to find. Chase was so funny. Once he picked up an egg he was only interested in opening it. We tried to get him to pick up more and he did but if we didn't help him he probably would have only got about 3 eggs on his own.

Chase's New Wheels
This weekend when we were outside we realized Chase really doesn't have a whole lot of "outside" toys to play with. He can only play with Lexi's Chuck-It for so long before he is bored and looking for other things to do. We decided to get him a little 4-wheeler that has fun buttons on it that make noises of it starting up and there's even a cute song! When he first got on it he was only interested in the buttons. He was pressing them over and over again. We tried to show him how to move his legs to get it moving and he did that a little but he just wanted to press the buttons! It was too cute. Here are some pictures of him having a blast in the driveway with his new toy!

Is That Da-Da?
I think Chase was a little confused seeing Ramon in the hospital. He barely even recognized him with all the wires/tubes connected to him. He was mostly interested in opening and closing the cabinet doors and playing with the sealed syringes inside them. He really wanted to press the buttons on the machine but we had to be extremely careful to not let that happen. I did manage to get a shot of Chase & Dad together during this crazy time.

An Update
Good news! Ramon is coming home tonight. The bad news is he has to give himself bloodthinners over the next 4-6 weeks which are 2 shots twice a day. After that, they will proceed with the tests (biopsy, possible gall bladder removal, and even complete removal of his stomach if they decide to). They can't do anything surgical that will cause him to bleed because of the blood clots - for those of who who didn't know, they found another clot in his lung. So until he is on the thinners for long enough, he will just be taking it easy for the next little while. He can go to school but work is probably out of the question for now and I'll most likely drive him to school.
My Mom goes home tomorrow which is a bummer but she has been a tremendous help. I am so thankful to have had her here during this time.
We also really appreciate all the phone calls, e-mails, text messages, and comments of love and support. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends and family in our life that we know we can turn to during times like these. Thank you so much!! I'll keep you posted on further developments, I can't wait to pick him up tonight!

PLEASE PRAY FOR US!
Friday morning I took Ramon to the ER because he was experiencing excruciating abdominal pain & vomiting some blood. For those of you who don't know, Ramon has a history of gastric issues. He has a rare disease called Eosinophillic Gastroenteritis which is an intestinal disorder. Its basically an abnormal accumulation of white blood cells called eosinophils in the intestinal wall and surrounding lymph nodes. The eosinophil is also a component of the immune system. For the 5 years we've been married, it hasn't been uncommon for him to just randomly throw up whether its in the middle of the night, in the middle of a meal, in the middle of driving (we've had to pull over several times). His entire stomach is also lined with pollups that bleed not to mention he is extremely iron deficient.
Anyway, when they gave Ramon an ultrasound yesterday, they found that his lymph nodes and everything in the gut were extremely swollen. They did a CAT scan and found a blood clot in his chest. After talking with the Oncologist (who was extremely thorough and genuinely concerned for Ramon - most doctors up to this point haven't been), she was concerned about the fact that he has been throwing up large amounts of blood and is on blood thinners at the same time so she decided to move him into ICU to be safe. She is also ordering a GI doctor to run some tests (probably an upper GI where they go in through the mouth and look at his intestinal tract and stomach) and she also has a Cardiovascular Specialist looking at everything. They may need to remove a piece of his lymph node for testing and possibly even get some bone marrow from him. At this point he has been at the hospital for almost 2 days and will probably stay until the middle of next week, maybe even later depending on how he is doing and what else they need to do. Our ward has been very supportive and has given me help with Chase. My Mom arrives tomorrow so that will be an huge weight lifted. Seeing Ramon tonight was hard. He is being fed fluids and proteins intravenously and he is just very weak and tired. Please keep us in your prayers that the doctors will get to the bottom of this so he doesn't have to suffer anymore. I just wanted to post a public update to friends and family. Love to all!

A Little Shopping Never Hurts
The other night I met my friend Kelly at the mall. I realized when I got there how long it had been since I went shopping! Kelly is one of my favorite girlfriends because among many other reasons I like her so much, we have very similar taste and shopping styles. For example, we both would rather have tons of cute shoes that are cheaper than only be able to own a few pairs and wear the same ones over and over. Only because I am such a shoe fanatic, I believe a shoe can make or break an outfit. We both also have a difficult time paying full price for something that we know we can either find the same look for much cheaper somewhere else or that it will go on sale anyway so its not worth it. I love shopping with someone who shares my same shopping style, it made for a fun night! Not to mention having 2 toddlers along made it even better! They had fun on the play cars at the mall and at Ruby Tuesday's for dinner. Chase became obsessed with Elle's bottle of water. He looked so funny trying to drink it especially since it was almost half his size!

Weekend in KY
Ramon & I decided sort of last minute to drive up to my brother's in Lexington, KY for the weekend. We had tons of fun. We left Thursday night late which put us there at like 4 am so needless to say we caught up on some sleep Friday while everyone was gone. Friday night we got a babysitter and went to this really cool Mongolian barbeque. Its this buffet where you get all your raw food first (meat, veggies, egg) and then you get your sauce and even add herbs and seasoning if you want. Then you take it to this huge grill and watch the cooks make your food and its like this delicious stir fry when they are done with it! Really cool experience, I'd never eaten anywhere like that. Ramon & I are big eat-outers so stuff like this is exciting to us.
Anyway, Saturday we also had a babysitter all day so the 4 of us went shooting. I had never been and it was so awesome! I have to admit, it was a little scary shooting a gun for the first time (sooo loud and powerful!) but it gave me more confidence if heaven forbid I ever had to use one. Now I know how to slide in the clip and cock the gun ... so cool!
We also brought Lexi and Joe's girls absolutely loved her. I am sure she didn't hate all the attention she got from them either.
Sunday we went to church and I made lasagna & breadsticks that everyone really enjoyed. We drove back Monday and Chase did really well on the drive. We are glad we went, it was a fun little weekend!
