As I sit here on Christmas Day I can't help but feel so grateful for the many blessings in my life. Thinking about the year and what it has brought us and the new year to come makes me feel happy and excited. I am anxious for 2009. There is something about a new year. A new beginning, new learning experiences, new ambitions, new goals, ... 2008 has been wonderful, however.
Despite Ramon's health concerns this past year, he has been able to be well and continue to thrive in school. I can't believe it has been 4 years and that he is graduating in May. I am so proud of him and his hard work and dedication and I look forward to what the future brings.
Chase turned two this year and he is learning new things everyday. Its like witnessing a miracle watching him learn and grow. He continues to bring us joy with his sweet smile and sparkling personality.
We welcomed a new addition to our family this year. Landon William is already 7 weeks old and has started smiling. We can't imagine our lives before he came along and we are so grateful to have 2 beautiful boys!
Today as I sat and watched Chase open his presents and see the look on his face and as I got to cuddle up to sweet Landon I just felt this glow of gratitude come over me as I acknowledged how awesome it is that I get to be their mother and be with them on this earthly journey. What an honor!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!
