The Little Things Kids Adore

I recently spent a Target gift card on a couple things for the boys - a mini motorcycle for Chase to ride around on which I thought he would LOVE. For Landon I got this pound-a-ball toy that you pound the balls at the top with a mallet and they go down a series of slides and come out the bottom. Even though he's too young for it I figured Chase might play with it until Landon is old enough. I brought it home and Chase's face lit up when he saw it! He has a fascination with balls going down slides and through tubes. He is always rolling balls down the bottom part of the banister going down the stairs. So that day after his nap he ignored dinner, ignored mommy - basically nothing existed except this toy for 2 whole hours. Needless to say he wasn't nearly as thrilled about his new motorcycle. The next morning he went straight for this baby toy. It was so funny to me!

So Ramon decided he would encourage his "balls-down-slides" interests even more and he found this huge marble maze toy at Toys R Us. You can guess Chase is in heaven with it. The only con is that its flimsy and therefore not very portable. If you put it somewhere, that's where it stays. But he does love it and is always talking about it. "Mommy, a ball?? Goes down the slide?? There it goes! Here it comes! HORRAY!! (everytime it comes out the bottom)

So fascinated!
